Wu Yijin’s Landscape Photography
Mr. Wu is my townee in Leqing, yet I’ve never met him. He sent me a two pieces of CD which contain his landscape photographic works with a letter in which he said to me he had made use of many years of his spare time to cover the country here and there and had taken many landscape photos for the great beautiful land. Mr. Wu lives in a city, however he love landscape and he would take down the scene using his camera every time when he saw a beautiful landscape. He has nickname Wild Spring which is also to verify that he is an addict of beautiful landscape. Readers may feel a strong sense of praise, interests and even worship to great vivid nature sending out from his works. I may strongly feel his crazy passion to Yandan Mountain in his homeland, to the picturesque scenery in south China, to the poetic scene in north China land and to the magic landscape in west China.
In my view, if an author tries to make his / her photo with deep feeling the final work must be that kind of work that is out of merely recode of surface things. An intangible emotion of photographer would infect his picture including color, light and shadow appearing on the picture, a sort of interactive function between human and his work. At least, as for the point, I feel this album by Mr. Yijin supports my view once again.
As the same as I am Mr. Wu also retired from his job. Yet I think we are not a kind of retiring of life but come to a new startup. We love photo picture shooting, which always make us happy and again our pictures make other people happy. Later year is like sunset, happy and beautiful, and we should do more for the happy and beautiful. I think Mr. Wu must agree with me for the point of view.
